Discover Cleeve With Claverham

welcoming places of worship

Cleeve with Claverham has moved from a team ministry to a group ministry, in partnership with the three churches in the parish of Yatton Moor.  Over the years a positive collaboration has been established.  Blessed with the generosity and expertise of people across both parishes we have come to appreciate each other’s strengths and differences.   Across the five churches there is one full time rector in Yatton Moor and one part-time (House-for-Duty) rector in Cleeve with Claverham working together as equals.  We are pleased to announce both posts have been filled this summer.   The group structure reflects better how we now work together, sharing a common rota of services, a parish administrator and shared events and resources such as the safeguarding and pastoral care teams.

Martin Stephenson in concert

Performing a special solo show in a lovely Village Church Near Bristol

Singer Songwriter Martin Stephenson and frontman to his band the Daintees, returns to Cleeve to perform for the first time in this intimate, atmospheric Church. Expect a beautiful evening of heartwarming songs and stories. This concert will also act as a Fundraising Event for Holy Trinity and there will be a cash licensed bar.

Café Church

Café Church is a very informal Service. Its a great way to gain an introduction to our local church community.

Every fourth Sunday of the month with the exception of the school summer holidays we meet at Cleeve Village Hall at 09.30am.

 

Its always wise to get there a bit earlier to be sure to get your tea or coffee with your bacon roll (or warm croissant for the vegetarians)

This services are diverse and often led by visiting groups and representatives.

The Thursday
Welcome  Room
 

The Thursday afternoon project has been running since COVID times. The Church Room at Holy Trinity is open to everyone from 2pm till 4pm during the summer months.

(In the winter months the venue becomes the Warm Room and is open from 12noon till 4pm, with soup and hot drinks are served from 12noon until 2pm.)

Teas, coffees biscuits and sometimes cake as well as good company. There are games and puzzles to entertain if this is not enough!
